First-Year Move-In & Fall Welcome Guide

The First-Year Move-In & Fall Welcome Guide will be live on the ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ University App by the end of the summer. In an effort to go paperless, in place of a printed schedule, we have created the ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ University Application. The app is available for all smartphones including iPhone and Android devices for free. The First-Year Move-In & Fall Welcome Guide will allow you to access the event schedule, ticket info, and university resources. We ask that you take the time to download the app before arriving on campus for the weekend.

What not to bring is equally as important as what to bring. Therefore, students, especially first-years, are strongly encouraged not to bring everything on move-in day that they think they might need during the course of the year. Bring items that will make your room feel like home and coordinate with roommates to figure out what items will be shared and who will be bringing them. Below is an abbreviated list of what to bring and not bring.

Alumni & Family Weekend and scheduled holidays provide additional opportunities to bring back personal items.

Permitted Items

What to Not Bring
