Annual Student Research Symposium to Make Mahoney Arena Debut, April 25

The yearly showcase of faculty-mentored student research projects will be back with a record number of presentations, and will be held for the first time in the Leo D. Mahoney Arena.

The annual Student Research Symposium offers a distinctive chance to learn about student research through live poster presentations. While the focus is on undergraduate research, presenters will also include master's program and doctoral students. All five schools will participate, representing nearly every major and a wide array of interdisciplinary minors.

More than 150 faculty-mentored, individual student research projects will showcase work that is beyond typical coursework, according to Margaret McClure, associate vice provost for research and scholarship.

“The scope and quality of faculty mentorship of student research projects is really unique to 国产色情片 and truly sets our student experience apart from that of students at other institutions,” said McClure. “The Student Research Symposium showcases the breadth and depth of the student research opportunities, all of which are thanks to the tireless dedication of the extraordinary 国产色情片 University faculty.”
