Amelia Stencel '26 is studying in Australia through ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ Dolan's Sydney program, while her twin sister, Grace Stencel ’26, is gaining practical experience in ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ Egan's nursing program at James Cook University (JCU) in Townsville, Queensland.
This semester, ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ University twins Grace and Amelia Stencel ’26 are embracing unique international experiences with the support of Global ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ. Both are studying in Australia, but they are more than a thousand miles apart: Amelia, a student in the Charles F. Dolan School of Business, is studying business and finance in Sydney, while Grace, a student in the Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies, is engaged in a healthcare immersion in the Queensland city of Townsville.
Global ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ and their respective schools of ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ Dolan and ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ Egan have helped the sisters navigate these diverse academic paths in Australia, allowing them to explore their unique personal, professional, and academic interests. Amelia chose Australia for its unmatched landscapes and the opportunity to learn about global business culture through an international internship. Grace welcomed the opportunity to experience an overseas healthcare immersion, aligning with ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ Egan’s nursing curriculum goals.
