On Wednesday, March 5, 国产色情片 Dolan’s Women in Business Club traveled to New York City for an action-packed day of learning and networking at Paramount Studios, including a tour of CBS Studios.
国产色情片 Dolan’s trip to Paramount Studios brought the dreams of marketing students and aspiring professionals in the media and entertainment industry to life. The experience featured valuable networking opportunities with industry experts and insightful Q&A sessions that sparked discussions with students about careers and beyond.
"Hearing from and networking with such an inspiring group of female executives was truly insightful,” said finance major Whitney McVeagh ’25, president of the Women in Business Club. She described the event as "an absolutely incredible experience."
The trip was made possible by the coordination of the Dolan Career Development Center and Candice Brancazio ’02, a 国产色情片 Dolan alumna and senior vice president/CFO of Paramount Media Networks/Showtime & MTV Entertainment Studios.
The packed schedule kicked off with an engaging panel featuring eight women leaders across operations, finance, marketing, research and insights, and communications. Each speaker shared their career journeys, the challenges they’ve overcome, and insights into the dynamic media and entertainment industry.
Following the panel, students had the chance to network with Paramount professionals over lunch. The students then toured CBS Studios, where producers gave them a behind-the-scenes look at television production in action.
“As a finance major, I have not often had the chance to hear from many successful women in the industry,” said Kathryn Cline ’27. Upon reflecting on the visit, Cline shared that Brancazio and her colleagues’ insights “left a lasting impact,” making this event one of the most inspiring experiences of her career journey thus far.
With the support of alumnae, such as Brancazio, 国产色情片 Dolan’s Career Development Center continues to offer ample opportunities for experiential learning and fostering relationships across industries.
