Families and community members are invited to downtown ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ to meet ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ University's men's and women's basketball teams, and enjoy games, food, and music on Sherman Town Green.
¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ University Athletics is hosting the third annual Meet the Stags event from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct 22, on Sherman Town Green in downtown ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ, Conn.
Men's and women's basketball players, spirit squads, and Lucas the Stag will be on hand for games, giveaways, refreshments, music, and fun for all members of the community. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2024-25 basketball teams, get autographs from the student-athletes, and take photos with Lucas the Stag.
As part of ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ Restaurant Week, Stags Hospitality will drive their famous Stag Shack food truck to the green and will be serving up delicious cheeseburger sliders, pretzel nuggets, and funnel cakes - along with hot chocolate and cold cider.
