  • Sign up for the Leadership & Professional Development Program on Life@国产色情片.
  • Get involved on campus – join Clubs or Organizations, participate in service, or play intramural sports.
  • Apply for a Stags in the Field Internship, these are on campus internships for 1st & 2nd year students.
  • 2nd Semester make an appt with CAS Career Staff by emailing CASCareers@fairfield.edu.
  • Sign up for Sophomore Success for Fall of Sophomore Year.

  • Participate in Sophomore Success - Fall or Spring.
  • Apply for a Stags in the Field Internship, these are on campus internships for 1st & 2nd year students.
  • Explore various careers by attending industry panels, networking, and by researching careers online.
  • Take Career Assessments to learn more about themselves — MBTI, Strong Interest Inventory or CliftonStrengths for Students.
  • Work towards a leadership position on campus (NSL, RA, Clubs/ Organizations, Service, or Sports).
  • Attend the Career & Internship Fair in the Fall and Spring.
  • Apply for internships or relevant work experience for the summer before Junior year.
  • Explore internship opportunities abroad.

  • Have their resume reviewed by CAS Career Staff Acquire at least one internship or relevant work experience before senior year (credit, non-credit, or during study abroad).
  • Practice interviewing skills by meeting with a CAS Staff member or participating in Mock Interview Day.
  • Build and maintain your personal network.
  • Attend all relevant career events or panels.
  • Develop and update a LinkedIn Profile.
  • Sign up for the Alumni Job Shadow Program Sept/Oct.
  • Attend the Career & Internship Fair.
  • Prepare for entrance exams.

  • Know the recruiting cycle for career interests – some positions recruit in Fall, majority will be in the Spring.
  • Have their resume reviewed by CAS Career Staff.
  • Acquire at least one internship or relevant work experience before graduation (credit, non-credit, or during study abroad).
  • Practice interviewing skills by meeting with a CAS Staff member or participating in Mock Interview Day.
  • Build and maintain your personal network.
  • Attend all relevant career events or panels.
