The Walking Examen The Examen is a contemplative prayer practice made popular by St. Ignatius of Loyola that invites us to see God in our everyday lives. There are five steps to the Walking Examen identified by five large rocks with a plaque. Each step signifies the five movements of the Examen prayer: Thanksgiving, Illumination, Examination, Contrition, and Hope. |

General Reunion Weekend Information
Registration will open in the spring. Reunion 2025 pricing is still being determined and will be shared closer to the launch of registration. Please note that every effort will be made to keep ticket prices as affordable as possible, while still providing the type of memorable Reunion Weekend for which ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ is known!
No tickets are mailed. You will receive a confirmation of your registration at the email address you provide on the registration form. For security purposes, and to ensure that you receive all of your materials, we require each alumnus/na to pick up their own registration packet and room keys upon arrival. If extenuating circumstances arise, you may call the Alumni Engagement & Annual Giving at (203) 254-4280 prior to your arrival to arrange a special pickup. Registration Desk hours are listed on the schedule above.
Refunds will be issued only for cancellations made by 5 p.m. EDT on Thursday, May 29, 2025. After this date we will have given counts and guarantees to our vendors and we cannot accommodate refunds.
Modifications to your Reunion registration can be made by calling the Alumni Engagement & Annual Giving at (203) 254-4280.
Children
Children and grandchildren are welcome at the Taste of ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ and other daytime activities on Saturday. Please be sure to include children’s names in your registration. Guests under 21 are not permitted at the Friday night receptions or Saturday evening dinner dance. Due to limited space and campus policies, we are unable to provide overnight on-campus accommodations for children or anyone under the age of 21.
Smoking and Drug Policy
As of January 1, 2018, ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ University is designated as a smoke-free, tobacco-free environment. The use of tobacco and tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, dipping tobacco or snuff, and electronic cigarettes on campus is prohibited. In addition, all illegal substances are prohibited on campus. Anyone found in violation of this policy will be dealt with appropriately by the Department of Public Safety and the ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ Police Department.
On-Campus Payment Methods
Walk-in registrations for event tickets (if capacity remains) may be paid for via cash or credit card. Cash and credit cards will also be accepted for the purchase of additional food vouchers at the Taste of ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ as well as drink tickets at the Bellarmine Dinner Dance, but cash is recommended in order to provide the fastest transaction for you. There is a Bank of America ATM located on the Second Floor of the Barone Campus Center for your convenience.
Special Needs
Dietary requirements, food allergies, and/or accessible parking or housing for the physically challenged can be arranged with advance notice. Please call us with any special needs at (203) 254-4280.
Event-Specific Questions
The approximately 2.5-mile Fun Run around campus has become a Reunion tradition! Children are welcome to participate if accompanied by an adult. Please note our Fun Run does take place rain or shine.
Check out the , which will start at the fan entrance to Lessing Field, loop around campus, and finish back at Lessing Field.
The RecPlex has limited hours of operation during the summer and exact hours will be finalized and shared closer to the weekend.
Alumni who wish to use the RecPlex facilities during business hours on Reunion Weekend will need to check in at the front desk and sign a waiver. You may download and print it in advance via the link below, or copies will be available on site. If you wish to shower in the facility, please bring your own towels, toiletries, and shower shoes.
A special Reunion Weekend Mass will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. In addition, the weekly Sunday Mass will take place in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
There is no assigned seating for this event. Tables in the tent on Bellarmine Lawn are in sections by class and consist of 10 seats per table.
Friday Night and Saturday Daytime Activities: Casual, weather-appropriate attire. Please note that while rain locations will be provided when possible for certain events, most activities take place rain or shine. We encourage you to bring umbrellas and raincoats/ponchos in case of rain. Limited shade is available for outdoor daytime events, so consider bringing sunblock, a hat, and/or a wearable fan to make your day more comfortable in the event of warm weather.
Saturday Evening Dinner Dance: Springtime evening cocktail/"summer wedding" attire, with flat shoes or moderate heels that are easy to walk in on grass. As it can get cool at night, we recommend a jacket, sweater, or wrap for your comfort. While the dinner takes place under a tent with sidewalls, we encourage you to bring umbrellas and raincoats/ponchos in case of rain showers while walking to/from Bellarmine Lawn and to/from the restrooms, which are located outside the tent.
At the Taste of ¹ú²úÉ«ÇéƬ, we recommend that you speak with the vendors directly for information regarding their offerings. The dinner on Bellarmine Lawn is served buffet-style and great care has been taken to offer options that cater to vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets. If you have more specific food allergies or dietary concerns, please call the Alumni Engagement & Annual Giving at (203) 254-4280 for more information and/or indicate your needs on your registration form.
Housing Questions
On-campus housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited by building by class. All housing accommodations will be in either traditional quad dorms or in suite-style residence halls. The townhouses are not available for use during Reunion Weekend.
Anticipated building locations for each class will be shared as we get closer to the weekend.
Housing is extremely limited and is only available for alumni and guests registered for official Reunion Weekend events. Room-only reservations will be cancelled.
Friday housing key pick-up will be in the Aloysius P. Kelley Center from 4 - 10 p.m. Saturday housing key pick-up will be in the Kelley Center from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and in Bellarmine Hall from 6:30 - 9 p.m.
Yes. You may indicate your roommate request(s) on your registration form. Each roommate must request the other to be placed together. For parties whose roommate requests exceed the accommodations of their rooms (i.e., 3 requests for 2-bed room), we will do our best to house you near each other but this is not a guarantee. Many alumni attend Reunion without a spouse or a guest. Please plan ahead to find a roommate or if necessary, one will be assigned to you.
We recommend that you coordinate with your requested roommate and try to register around the same time. Spots in rooms cannot be held indefinitely for roommates who have not yet registered. Please note that this also applies to those staying in suite-style rooms (two rooms with a shared bathroom); we cannot hold a side of a suite or guarantee that your requested suitemates will be placed on the other side of your suite if they register at a much later date.
When packing to stay on campus, please remember that campus housing contains only the basics. Lightweight sheets, a towel, a blanket, and a pillow will be provided. You may want to bring along hangers, extra pillows, blankets, and towels, and you are responsible for bringing your own toiletries.
Please note that rooms do contain mini-fridges and microwaves for your convenience.
We have a block of rooms reserved at the Trumbull Marriott Shelton, located at 180 Hawley Lane in Trumbull, CT. Rooms are priced at the special group rate of $159 for a king bed and $179 for two double beds. Please note this pricing is before taxes and fees. The group rate is available until Friday, May 16, 2025, or whenever the block fills up, whichever comes first.
